There were some really fantastic cover reveals including the Middle Grade cover for School of Charm by Lisa Ann Scott, Unforgotten by Jessica Brody, the 15th Anniversary cover for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling and the one we’ve all been waiting for: Cress by Marissa Meyer. Drooling over books is totally acceptable behavior, right?

Cover reveals include the more Harry Potter redesigns: The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix. US covers include Sekret by Lindsey Smith (there’s still time to win an ARC here), Taste of Darkness by Marie V. Snyder (book three in her Healer series), and the Cuddlebuggery Fav of the Week: Nightingale’s Nest by Nikki Loftin. There’s no such thing as too many books, right?

Whew! I’m back from BEA with a HUGE Hot New Titles post because it encompasses two weeks worth bookish goodies. Big new releases from the past two weeks include Dare You To, Spirit, Wild Awake, Siege and Storm, Insomnia and The Moon and More. Cover reveals include the UK cover for Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein and Dangerous by Shannon Hale, All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill (am I the only one who is missing the ARC cover?) and the Cuddlebuggery Fav of the Week: Infinite by Jodi Meadows.
Hot New Titles: 19th May 2013
There were a ton of new releases, including highly anticipated titles like Golden, The Beautiful and the Cursed, and Parallel. There weren’t many cover reveals this week, but what was revealed, will rock your face off. We had the cover for Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken, the sequel to Darkest Minds, and the UK and US covers for United We Spy. If you’ve been under a rock this past week, taking one hell of a siesta, we helped reveal both the UK and US covers for Kinslayer by Jay Kristoff. Guess which one made our fav of the week! Are all of these books making you drool? Well, who needs money anyway when you can have lots of books?!

It’s a big week for dystopians! New releases include highly anticipated titles like The 5th Wave, Icons, and The End Games. Guys, HUGE cover reveals this week. We had the Aussie cover for Seventeen & Gone by Nova Ren Suma, which is just as chilling as the US cover; the cover for the first book in Simone Elkeles’ newest series, Wild Cards; the cover of Veronica Roth’s final book in her Divergent series, Allegiant; and Cuddlebuggery’s fav of the week: Once We Were by Kat Zhang! Don’t worry. I won’t tell if you go out and BUY ALL THE BOOKS. Who says you can never have too many anyway?

Welcome to Hot New Titles! Guys, I can not contain my fangirlin’ because this week had a great new releases like Sever, The Indigo Spell and Pivot Point! Not only that, but once again the publishers, especially HarperTeen, just couldn’t help themselves by unloading SO MANY cover reveals. A few of my favorites are covers for The Chaos of Stars, Black Out and the coolest Middle Grade cover ever for The Creature Department. What’s even more awesome? Scholastic is redesigning the Harry Potter covers for its 15th Anniversary, starting with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Gah! 15 years already? Man, I feel old. I think I need a pick-me-up. To the book store!

Review: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
So, yeah: I liked “Shatter Me.” It has plenty of teeth-grinding stupidity, but I certainly don’t dislike it as much as many others seem to. I think that Ms. Mafi shows a great deal of promise, and I’ll be reading the rest of the trilogy to see if she can overcome her issues and smooth out those rough edges.
