Still sobbing over the cover redo for Unspoken. STILL SOBBING. It’s one of the most needless cover redesigns I can think of.
Something about the Unhinged cover is off to me. The girl on the first cover looked realistic, like someone took a photograph of the girl and added the bright, colorful touches later, but with this one, you can tell it’s all a digital manipulation. The colors and especially the hair give it away. I would have liked it more had it seemed more real like the first cover. 😛 Either way, I don’t want it because I didn’t like the first book.
*makes note to buy Exile and Unbreakable later and also dropkick copies of Chosen at Nightfall and Crush*

  2. jazchau

Not liking that new Quintana cover 🙁 I’m biased towards the Aussie covers 😀
Did not enjoy The Elite 🙁
I’ve got to read the ARC of The Rules gah I’m really behind! Heard it’s really good.
I really want Unbreakable omg but I’m waiting for the UK release because the cover is so pretty!!! I’ve also been meaning to check out Crash/Crush by Nicole Williams.
The re-designed covers of The Lynburn Legacy books are GORGEOUS OMG. Especially loving Untold! Can’t wait for its release. There are already two different covers out though so I don’t know why they re-designed them…  but they’re still gorgeous.
Unhinged as well is especially beautiful, really matches the beauty of Splintered 😀
I’m not sure about the re-designed Slammed series books. I don’t like the cover of This Girl – they look too young on the cover! But I do like Will on Point of Retreat 🙂 I still prefer the sophistication of the original covers. I wish they made a This Girl cover that matched the originals!
