The Night Before Bloggermas
Twas the night before Bloggermas, when all through the net-
Not a commenter was stirring, not even to let-
The post-writers know that typos abound,
In the hopes of improving the writing all ’round.
The posts were all scheduled, ready to run,
The updates and tweets had already been done.
And Steph with her book, and I with some nightcaps,
Had resigned ourselves to some low pageview stats.
When out in the net there arose such a din!
People were talking and sharing – tizzying into a spin.
I opened a window with the click of a button,
And typed in the URL to see what was rotten.
Everything was normal, nothing new to show,
The blog, normally white like fresh-fallen snow,
And my pointer, as usual, like the head of an arrow.
When, what to my weary, screen-glazed eyes should pop,
But a furious rush to enter Cuddlebuggery’s Top Cuddles 2012 giveaway hop!
The books were all wanted, so many to see,
Everyone wanted in on the Bloggermas buggery!
Onto every single giveway! Forget the Firewall! Now enter them! Enter them! Enter them all!
Now with our eyes all tired and weary,
Steph and I retired, excited and cheery.
And with one last sigh, we gave one last grateful look.
Good night to you all! And to all a good book!
