They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. Circle of Silence

by

Carol M. Tanzman

Release Date: 24th July 2012

THE BIGGEST STORY OF MY LIFE COULD BE HOW IT ENDS [expand title=”Read More”]It’s my turn to run a “Campus News” crew, and I’ve put together a team that can break stories wide open. And Washington Irving High has a truly great one to cover, if only we can find a lead.

No one knows its members, agenda or initiation secrets-until a student lands in the hospital under “strange” circumstances.

I “will” blow this story wide open and stop others from being hurt…or worse. And while my ex, Jagger, might want to help, I don’t trust him yet. (And, no, not because of our past together. That is “not” important to this story.)

But whether you find me, Valerie Gaines, reporting in front of the camera, or a victim in the top story of the newscast…be sure to watch “Campus News” at 9:00 a.m. this Friday.[/expand]

Love that animation on Days of Blood and Starlight. Ever since I saw Konrath had done it to his cover, I’ve been trying to get my cover artist too. So cool looking!

I also really like the artwork for the Flame in the Mist. It seems like no one does hand drawn(even the digital kind) cover art anymore.

I just love the cover for Days of Blood and Starlight. It’s so striking. But I do like the US covers for the series a little better.

I missed the hand drawn cover art. They seem to save those for MG novels these days, which is a shame. The Flame in the Mist is a MG/YA crossover.

Jesus Christ on a crutch, there’s a book called ‘Otherkin?’ Does the author or the editor, or anyone who worked on this book know what otherkin actually are? Or did they just look it up on wikipedia and think, “Hey, wouldn’t it be cool of they were real?” If they had actually bothered to research otherkin for more than five seconds, they’d scrap the title of that book, FAST.

At this point, all anyone can do is laugh or cry from secondhand embarrassment.

That animated cover made me eyes pop. Very nice! I have yet to read ‘Daughter of Smoke and Bone’ though. I should get to it!

  4. ExperimentBL626

Loving the animated cover for “Days of Blood and Starlight”! Even though I didn’t really like book 1, I look forward to book 2. I’m also looking forward to “Something Strange and Deadly.”
